Er. Jitin Talwar (2001, Mechanical),  our esteemed alumnus and a proud recipient of Distinguished Alumnus Awards-2018, explicitly as Young Entrepreneur Award (below 40 years category) has added yet another feather to his cap.

He has recently been selected for the prestigious Chevening Gurukul Fellowship for Leadership and Excellence at the University of Oxford, London . The fellowship is sponsored by British government.

About the Fellowship

The Chevening Gurukul Fellowship for Leadership and Excellence is the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s flagship fellowship for India and has run for more than 20 years. The fellowship is aimed at young high-flyers and mid-career professionals from diverse backgrounds with a strong and demonstrable leadership potential.

Every year twelve selected Gurukul Fellows are offered an intensive, eleven-week residential course at the Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR) at the University of Oxford to study and address these challenges through three fundamental and interlocking components focussing on academic understanding, policy relevance and personal development.

This innovative programme familiarises India’s future leaders with an understanding of the contemporary opportunities and challenges of global integration, the leadership skills to play a leading role in meeting them, and the knowledge to translate this into policy and practice.

We, on behalf of entire PEC family, would like to congratulate Er. Jitin Talwar on his achievement and wish him all the success in future endeavours.
