Alumni Corpus Fund

Alumni Corpus Fund will be over and above the funds received from any Alumnus as individual or as a group who intends to contribute fund for specific purpose viz., award of scholarship, financial reward for excellence, creation of special facilities in Institute or hostel etc (as per guidelines).

Creation of Fund
  1. One time contribution for Alumni Association by students at the time of admission
  2. Minimum Rs 5000/- contribution or more voluntary contribution
  3. Voluntary contribution from any other source.
  4. 10% of the all the contributions/grants received shall be accrued for the corpus fund and remaining shall be used to run various activities.
Objective of Creation of Alumni Fund
  1. To run alumni activities which mainly include the efforts to outreach the Alumni in India and abroad.
  2. As special case of emergent need to provide assistance as a part for scholarship/financial assistance to needy students, for Student Activities, viz., Cultural Festivals, Sports and Technical Festival etc.
  3. To create infrastructure in Hostel and Institute departments.
  4. To promote activities leading to excellence in academics, such as, support and recognition for student’s projects, organizing expert lectures etc.
  5. To assist on establishment of some state-of-art facility
Mode of Giving

The contributions may be made through online money transfer, demand draft or in cash (in Indian currency) in the account of State Bank of India at PEC, Sector 12, Chandigarh bearing an account number 30745004277 IFSC Code. SBIN0002452.

Management of Fund
  • The account of alumni association shall be maintained by ACF&A, PEC Chandigarh. It shall be operated by the approval of Director, PEC Chandigarh when forwarded and recommended by Dean Alumni Affairs, PEC Chandigarh.
  • Out of the total contribution received each year, efforts shall be made to create a corpus fund for sustaining various activities.
  • At later stage, when sufficient amount is accrued in corpus fund, only the interest shall be used to run the various activities.
